Shining Star
Stephanie King, Volunteer Coordinator at the House of Shine, was honored recently as a Shining Star by the Arts Council Northeast. Stephanie joined our team in January and quickly formalized and expanded our volunteer program.
Stephanie graduated from the University of Texas with a B.A. in Sociology and has worked in Human Resources for over thirteen years, currently as an Independent Consultant with Berkley Research Group. This type of experience made Stephanie a natural fit to serve as the House of Shine’s Volunteer Coordinator in which she has grown volunteer opportunities and engagement exponentially. Stephanie also serves the community as a Girl Scout troop leader and the VP of Programs with Ascend North Texas. Stephanie is a resident of Southlake, TX with her husband Rory and their two children, Grayson and Fiona.
