Legacy of Women
Dr. Claudia K. Beeny was recognized as a Legacy of Women honoree at the 25th Annual Legacy of Women luncheon hosted by Safe Haven of Tarrant County. Dr. Beeny was recognized for her contributions to the field of education over the last twenty five plus years.
Dr. Beeny is an inspirational leader who is enthusiastically passionate about helping others find their “shine”. Dr. Beeny began her career as an educator who worked to develop curriculum and special courses to enhance the college experience for students. In 2008, Dr. Beeny founded the House of Shine®, which is a non-profit organization aimed to help women and children of all ages identify their personal strengths and to create habits that place these strengths at the forefront of their lives.
