Many weeks my DO52 verb is affirmation-on-a-stick; approval of an idea that's already been brewing in my mind.
That was the case last week when I drew the verb DECORATE and used it twice.
I used the verb the first time on Friday, July 25 when our cousins were visiting and we had a small Christmas in July celebration. I decorated small packages with holiday wrapping paper and ribbons and then stuffed them into stockings to hang from their bedroom doors.
But with July drawing to an end, I knew it was also time to get serious about my monthly Shineworks Project. Shineworks is an initiative coordinated by us that is meant to encourage people in our communities who shine. We do it by repurposing everyday household items and turning them into random act of kindness that can be shared with deserving people in our corners of the world.
This month's assigned item is a coffee filter.
The filters needed to be cut and dyed,
so that later this week, before July 31, they can be presented to a very deserving person in Key Largo.
Here's my sneak peek.
Stay tuned to see what I do with them and…
how I use this week's verb, DETECT.
