Busy, busy, busy. STOP! Mother's Day is in a few weeks and most of us will slow down long enough to celebrate.
Busy, busy, busy. STOP! Same thing with Father's Day.
Busy, busy, busy. STOP! When the Fourth of July rolls around yard work suddenly waits, laundry hangs on for one more day, and grocery shopping takes on a whole new meaning.
A ritual by definition is, "a detailed method or procedure faithfully or regularly followed." Interestingly enough, these faithfully followed procedures sometimes give us guilt-free license to abandon - if only for a day - other faithfully followed methods and procedures.
Most House of Shine readers participate in the daily ritual of showing up here each day (except Sunday) to check out our daily dose of creativity, inspiration, and yes - at times - inane and mindless nonsense.
Except on the 18th of the month or, as is the case today, the date closest to the 18th. Busy, busy, busy. STOP!
Visit us in the Community Forum, labeled Today's Post and tell us the best thing that has happened to you in the last month (high); the worst thing that has happened to you in the last month (low); and something you have learned in the last month (aha).
Shining off until tomorrow...
