Something SHINE-y that spins and twirls and lights up! :)

since I am known as 'Woman who follows shiny things' I want something shiny and sparkly, too!

Although I couldn't see the picture for today's blog post I thought it was funny that you coined a McDonald's phrase (Happy Meal) but you talked about Wendy's. I worked at McDonald's around the time Happy Meals were introduced (1979). Let me tell you... they were a pain in the booty!!!

I like the size or amount of food a Happy Meal offers.... 4 things... a drink, a fry, mcnuggets and a toy... the last time I got one.... they got the order wrong.... it was missing the mcnuggets... it was one small friggin' order and they got it wrong, aaargh!

Well of course I'd like a diamond ring as my toy... shiny!!!

Over the years I loved it when they had the .... Beany babies....no pun intended! hee hee.

How about a meal that tastes as good as a combo meal without all the bad things! (or at least the guilt!)

I'm anxious today and contemplating doing something on a total whim. It is a secret so I won't divulge until next week!

I love Jack. That's so cute.

I don't really want a toy but maybe something like the fortune in the fortune cookie. I think we could all use words of affirmation to help us get through the negativity and sadness that we somtimes have to endure.

About yesterday's YEP post- I think it is an important initiative that was created here at House of Shine. It is something good that we put out in the world. I realize that it isn't going away but I don't want to see if fall through the cracks either and that sometimes happens when you don't give it the attention it deserves. Maybe there is a another, better inititiave that deserves to take its place like others mentioned yesterday. I don't know. I know I am guilty of not supporting the YEP by not recognizing people that I thought shined. And that is my fault. I commit to acknowledging and nominating more people in the future.

speaking of doing things on a whim (Heather did) I decided to go back to school... I start tomorrow.. 2 days late but I can catch up...

I would want a lottery ticket in my Happy Meal. A chance to win back the money I just spent eating out.

I have been MIA from HOS recently - too busy to find time for reading. I hope to get back to it but the next few weeks don't look so promising! Here's to making it to my September Disney World vacation!

Aaahh.... I feel reconnected, now. Much better.

If I got a toy today...I would hope it would be some type of devise to turn down the temp outside, just a few notches. It is really HOT! Don't get me wrong, I love summer...but...wow wee its a hot mama jama.

The baby is REALLY active today. I LOVE this feeling :).
