Wordless Wednesday, Not So Much

We are turning Wordless Wednesday on it's ear.
Using the scrabble tiles above, create a word that will serve as your inspiration for today's post.
Then, write it.
In the Comment Section.
Make it inspiring,
Funny,
Thought provoking,
Challenging,
Irreverent.
You decide.
But, keep it to 150 words or less.
Shining off until tomorrow...

MOXIE
I am going to have moxie today! There is lots of change at work and in my husband's job that has had me stressed, sleepless and challenged. So today's word for me is Moxie! I love that word. It connotes a spirit that I want to exude. Even if I don't feel it right now. I know it's in there. Have you felt the need for moxie at times in your life? I am ready for the day now!! Because I know, no matter how low I may feel, that the spark that drives initiative, interest, intrigue and motivation is in there. I won't have to search too far. After all, it is a new day! And it WILL be filled with Moxie! (Whew - I needed that!)

GO. Do you see it? Just think of the direction GO can take you to, in, and through. It is so screaming at you in the scrabble. Its a place, a destination, state of mind, goal and objective. Oops, go to xx.

DONE
I'm done. Just for the semester, and a short break at that, but this past semester is DONE. I feel like it was so draining. I'm wandering around a bit lost trying to figure it all out. But I only have four more classes until I'm DONE DONE.

in this day
we all need a bit of faith...
believe
a charming airy MUSE
with sparkles in her hair,
pointy Fendi shoes and
a magic wand,
will frolic around you....
she will only appear when your lashes touch your cheeks
and a smile sits upon your face
you will feel her gentle tap
a nudge
as she inspires creativity
let her dust on your shoulder
fall to a friend
hug someone else
at the days end

Savor - I love this word. I like the way it sounds and reminds me of my family, friends, and food! We should all savor the time we have with our loved ones and take time to savor the wonderful things that surround us. Often the challenges and struggles we face each day are overwhelming but taking time to savor the blessings we have in our lives keeps us grounded. I am also trying to savor the baby/toddler/young child years with my kids. I often find myself thinking "if it was just time for Jackson to go to Kindergarten I could save daycare money" or "if Cooper would hurry up and get to age 2 it would be so much easier". I need to savor the time I have with them when they are young.

I was going to try to create a phrase using all 36 letters only once but whew! That may take all day and still be unachievable. My word is HOME.
When the day grows long
and you are weary
turn towards home
where your heart has planted
your seeds of love.
Where smiles and hugs
and laughter and truth
will renew you.

My word is Patient or maybe even Impatient...
I find myself impatient quite often these days. Impatient with the flow of work, impatient with my kids, impatient with my husband, impatient with traffic, impatient, impatient, impatient. Why are we so impatient to the point that we wish our lives away hoping for the next day, the next sleep, the next stage in our children's lives? Shouldn't we just take the time to savor each moment? Appreciate the fact that we have the moment to savor? And so today, I challenge myself and I challenge each of you to be PATIENT...appreciate the moments you have and don't wish them away for anything in the world as the most precious gift we have is the precious present.

LAUGH
I love to laugh. Laughter is a powerful antidote to stress, pain, and conflict. Nothing works faster or more dependably to bring your mind and body back into balance than a good laugh. Humor lightens your burdens, inspires hopes, connects you to others, and keeps you grounded, focused, and alert. Hope this brings you a good laugh...it did me :).

My word is TIRED... I know, not a very inspirational word. But I'm tired and ready for a vacation.
