I love the stuffed Ray!!
For Mother's Day, I bought a plane ticket to go home. I bought it for halfway in between Mother's and Father's Day so it's a joint gift for early June.
On Mother's Day, I'll be co-hosting a wedding shower for one of my colleagues!

Ah, very nice Katie.
As I said on the video, I will be hanging out with my boys. Probably have an early lunch at Miguelito's and then they have their first flag football practice/game that day. We will be at the fields from 3 until 6. That will be my Sunday afternoons for the next 6 weeks or so. :)
Hey- is anyone watching the Derby this weekend? Big hats? Mint julips?

I went up to Wisconsin yesterday to take my mom (for mother's day) and my dad ( for his 79th birthday) out to lunch. To say the least ... our relationship is interesting... my mom knows which buttons to push ... we had to come to a truce by the end of the visit...my dad just laughs because he loves us both so much!!! I think we have finally... (but it doesn't make it better)... realize how 'loudly' we communicate with each other... together but separately we were working on a t-shirt quilt to give to Kyle as a high school graduation gift ...to put on his dorm bed ... and then I was late in getting home to take Holly to work... and knew I would 'hear it' from my daughter.... and then I realized the nut doesn't fall far from the tree .... mothers and daughters...

Does anyone think it is funny that my computer was down for the majority of today? Do you think it is God's way of preparing me for what is to come next week?
The video was fun and Ray photographs well, doesn't he?
Richard and I will actually go to a Derby party on our way to a school fundraiser.
It is a beautiful Friday here, so maybe everyone is out enjoying the sunshine.

Wow... it's been so long since I've been here. I come back, and, viola!, it's the 1000th post day!
It was so good to watch your FFAF... I've missed you all.

By the way, I'm hoping to do something nice and simple for my mom, by taking her out to a nice dinner. She never treats herself to dinners out, so she appreciates it when I do.

BRIAN!
We were just talking about you a couple of weeks ago asking- where is Brian?
so happy you popped your comment in. :)
Oh, Claudia! It was acting bad last night.... sorry it didn't get any better today. Just think of all the wonderful time you're going to spend unplugged and guiding our future leaders! :)

BRIAN!!!!
You made my day! It was so good to hear from you again. Don't be a stranger. Our community is better when you're a part of it!
Nice call on the Mother's Day gift. I cross my fingers that my boys will think to do the same when they get older.

Hello HOS! Hello Brian! So nice to hear from you. Fun video and Ray is so CUTE! It was a full, fun, filled day at my daughters school today. I am just sitting down at my computer for the first time all day.
I will be spending the day with my mother and my dad will be cooking a nice dinner for us :). Looking forward to a relaxing day. Happy Mother's Day to all the mommies!
