FFAF: While the cat's away...
While the cat's away...the girls will relax poolside while drinking some yummy cocktails!
That's right, Claudia's away at The House of Shine in the Florida Keys so we snuck in to her backyard to hang out by the pool. We got to enjoy our own fun egghunt and talk about how we are using the "rebirth" of spring to re-energize our "Year Of..." efforts.
Click the video to see the fun!
Shining off until tomorrow...

Very nice, women!
Here I thought I was setting up a cat fight with the bracelets. I wanted to see you swapping and fighting over your favorite ones. Instead, the three of you were so polite. That's because I wasn't there.
And, imagine how surprised I was to see you sitting in my backyard. I loved it! Hilarious.
As for my year of... for the most part I can say I am still in the game, but I must say it has been very, very hard to carve our time every week to write. Last week was not a good week for me. Next week, though, I have a meeting with my writing coach. That will be a good dose of reality.
And, did someone say, "Fish (or cut bait?). Richard, at this very moment, is out picking up his boat. I think that means there will be fishing in our family's future. Who knew this New York city girl would ever be fishing!?
I will check in again later. Have a good day everyone.

Claudia we also got to hang out with your lovely mother in law which was a ton of fun! And do share your secret to getting her to do laundry while you are out of town!!!
Oh and for the bracelets... THANK YOU!!! We did do some swapping off camera and I ended up with two sets that have a torquoise color in them and wore them to work all chunked up today. I've only seen my admin since it is so early but she complimented them already.
Totally fun about fishing. Even though I'm a vegetarian I have been known to fish I time or two. I must admit however that if I'm out on a boat I much prefer relaxing on a party barge, cold drink in hand, sun beating down on my shoulders.

Not that I know anything that Misty was talking about.... but what came to my mind was:
Then if you have to explain it... it's not so great... but like Moon Shine then I thought
BeenSh!ney.... Beeny with sh!ne in the middle
past tense of to shine.... :0)

This could be a fun activity one day. Name that boat! And yes, it is YELLOW (pale yellow, to match the house).

That bracelet was mine, Misty! It was in my egg. It wanted me. :)
Oh and by the way- Heather and Misty- at midnight I woke up with a fever and raging sore throat to which was diagnosed as strep throat this morning. Hopefully you won't get it, too.
So, my day off today was spent sleeping.
