My boys and I are attending an event at my local Starbucks tonight; an event I think fits nicely with our blog theme for December - Things that Shine .

Steps:
1. Get a shoebox
2. Pick a boy or girl
3. Fill it with fun kid stuff
4. Bring it to our store Tuesday night and get a free holiday drink while decorating your box.
The idea shines for a number of reasons. It is manageable (fill a shoebox). It is well-defined (boy or girl). It's outwardly focused (fill it with kid stuff). It fosters community (bring it to the store). And, it is interactive (decorate your box with us).
Of course, the free holiday drink is a nice incentive too.
