Psst... It's That Time

If life was a marathon, rituals would be the pit stops where we stopped and recharged with water.

Think of today as a water break.

Those of you who are new to the race need to know the basics.  Once a month our loyal and remarkable readership stops spreading shine long enough to tell us what is going on in their corner of the world.  It's how we stay connected, despite our busy schedules.

Each of us shares our "High" (the best thing that has happened to us in the last month); our Low (the worst thing that has happened to us in the last month); and our "Aha" (something we have learned in the last month).  I usually start in order to get the ball rolling.

High: lots of lunches with friends and colleagues I don't get to see enough of; enjoying the project I am working on at UNT; a visit from my sister; making new friends; and welcoming Heather's daughter, Charlotte, to the world.

Low: a husband who is traveling a lot lately; missing my parents; and Dips.

Aha: The majority of my learning this month has surrounded the work I am doing to redesign a course at the University of North Texas.  I LOVE the process and super interested in any discussion examining how students learn.

How about you?  Visit us in the Community Forum labeled, "Today's Post" and tell us about your high, low, and aha.

Shining off until tomorrow when we do a recap of our Pirate Bingo party.
