I feel like I shine more when I'm following Principle #2 of our Shine Manifesto: Create.

For me, thinking of a new idea and getting it up and running provides a rush of adrenaline.  I love creating.

Creating can be big and audacious, like creating a movement or a trend or an invention that changes the way we do things.  But creating can be small and personal, like a greeting card that makes someone's day or dinner for your family or a knit scarf for your friend.

To create is to cause to exist; bring into being; give rise to; produce.

I spent yesterday morning in the Dallas Garment District with a friend.  She is a big fan of the House of Shine and is helping Heather, Cheryl, me, and reader Misty, create our website's next big initiative - coming your way in March 2011.

It will be big.  It will be bold.  And it will most certainly Shine.
