Psst...

AbracadabRay, here.

"Whoa whoa whoa it's magic.  You know oh oh..."  I love that song.  Reminds me of this cute little florescent thing from back in the day.  Took some time to get her going but once you did....

Hocus pocus, who's the focus?

That's right, me.  Me, glorious me!  Wednesday is my birthday and Claudia has promised to give me the attention I deserve this week.  I want presents.  I figure if I hang around long enough, you'll shine on me, dammit.  What are you waiting for?  All these Yellow Envelopes going to all these do-gooders.  Where are mine?  I open my mailbox and nothing.  I feel like Charlie Brown waiting for a letter from the Little Red Haired Girl.

I work some serious magic around here.  I'm always pulling one rabbit or other out of my hat.  You need to put my name up in lights.  The big lights.  Maybe put me up in Vegas.  Give me my own show.  Don't get me wrong; I love all you over-achieving, save the world, cookie baking whackos.  But I was born for greatness.  It's in the stars.  Can't be helped.

My favorite color is Amberglow.  According to Claudia's crazy, Colorstrology book, I am  "Magnificent....Different....Daring."  Not enough?  I'll continue.  "If you are born on July 21, your  mind is quick and alert.  Everything about you tends to move more quickly than the rest of the world.  You are highly dynamic and are not afraid to go where no man or woman has gone before.  You can be entertaining and generous, especially with your energy."

Did you catch that?  The book that says that I am Magnificent. Truly this author is an oracle.  I wonder if she can do lotto picks?  Where's my stage?  Where's my entourage?

As I mentioned, this is my Birthday week.  In addition to the normal festivities, Claudia gets to unveil her winning cookie creation.  Richard got mermaid cookies last year for his birthday.  I'm expecting something equally fitting and yummy.  Maybe she'll dress up and jump around in a lightning bolt costume or something.  If you look closely, you'll probably be able to see hot glue gun burns on her arms and legs.  Sometimes she takes the expression "Shine till it hurts" a bit too literally.

So.  If you were me, what favorite story of me, should I include in my memoirs?
